Our Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) has ambitious plans to drive growth across a diverse business base which includes a range of world-leading sectors including finance and business services, advanced engineering/manufacturing, healthcare and environmental technologies, creative, digital and tourism industries.
Our priorities include improving transport, skills, infrastructure and enabling a vibrant business community to strengthen its overseas trade, increase innovation, reduce carbon and create more sustainable jobs for the benefit of local people. We are ready to appoint a LEP Director to drive the delivery of our strategic plans.
The LEP Director
You are a strategic thinker with experience of business and government, with excellent judgement, political awareness and communication skills. You have credibility with senior decision-makers and can demonstrate a proven track record of success in economic growth. You will work directly with the LEP Board and Local Authority Leaders Board to ensure that the LEP’s plans are delivered.
The position is a fixed term contract for one year, open to negotiation for part-time/full-time or secondment options.
